Cat Colony does well in Hurricane Sandy

As of tonight, all noses and ear tips have been accounted for! All are safe, secure, and well-fed. So, until the next dangerous storm, we are able to breathe easily—or as easily as one is able when it comes to the welfare of homeless cats.  And, once again, they have served up their feline lessons in patience and resiliency. The photo below was taken yesterday in Chappaqua, New York where many residents are still without electricity.

  1. oh my gosh, I'm glad to hear that everyone is accounted for. I would have been an anxious wreck as I worried about their well-being. Thanks for caring and looking after them.

  2. Thank you Cat Guy. I think they're much tougher than I am!

  3. Thanks, Caren! A sigh of relief for now...
